- Man my weekend was busy and it was worth it even though I spent HELLA money. So I finally was able to go to Friendship Games after all this hype about it from friends and my brother. Um I didn't get much sleep but whatever. Anyways I left Friday morning from San Jose. We met at Roger's house and pretty much I rode in Riray's car with the Go sisters and Vince. Pretty small car but it's okay. Drive there was pretty damn long since it started getting hot and we got stuck in L.A. traffic for ages. Mostly slept in the car and listened to whatever Riray was playing in the car and just a bunch of random stuff throwing those small noise poppers at cars in the freeway. Haha! But yeah we stopped by In-n-Out for lunch and went to Target to get some supplies but we got to Embassy Suites around 5 or 6 something. Not alot of people were here yet, even the charter bus that had the rest of the school. We checked in and got our room which was 312 and pretty much chilled for a bit with the roomies. Yeah eventually people started coming here and there but eventually we walked to BevMo to get some drinks for Saturday night which took awhile and then Target again to get a few things.
- Afterwards went back to the hotel, dropped off some thing and walked to the mall to eat. Had some good food but the lady charged me an extra dollar since they ran out of certain meat or something. Pretty lame but whatever. Left the mall and chilled in the room till we had to meet at midnight in the parking lot for a meeting. Meeting was alright. Didn't seem like alot of people like 200 or so they said and there was a lot of people I've never seem before which I didn't even knew they went to San Jose. They talked about the cheers, some rules and what to expect tomorrow and what not. We also got our shirts which were alright. The color is cool but its hecka bright and the design is pretty simple. Anyways went back to the room and tried to get ready to sleep. Couldn't really sleep because of all the excitement I was getting for the day to come. Haha! But yeah I ended up getting maybe 2-3 hours of sleep since I needed to be up early. Slept on the floor which wasn't that bad. Got ready pretty quick and ate a few fruits. Met downstairs at the lobby then in the parking lot for the people in the games for a last minute talk. After that we were off to Fullerton and shit I was hyped and tired as well. Haha! - Drive there was pretty short and we followed in a caravan like Tita Polly does for Kariktan. Got in the parking lot and we saw some school there parking and everyone started yelling and cheering already. Shit! We didn't even get out of the car yet and everyone all excited. Haha! Anyways went out and we all started chanting "SJSU" and just getting hyped. We started walking over to the place to where we need to sign in. Since half of our school wasn't here yet we waited for awhile. Yeah alot of schools started coming in and damn cheers were coming everywhere. Anyways our school rolled deep when the other half of the school came shit we looked huge. I heard someone say our school is HELLA big with so many people. Haha! But yeah we lined up in alphabetical order and then we waited for awhile to get inside but we finally did, set up our tent area and then we started to SPUF. A few schools started coming up to us and we did our thing. Then we went over to the area where Roll Call was and Long Beach was there already. Yeah they have a theme of "Anti-Friendship" so they were blocking the stage. We got in there and broke up their line and all but damn some people were actually snapping at them. Crazy shit! Haha! Yeah even this one guy was like going to snap or something. Shit! People are damn violent here but whatever. Anyways Roll Call was alright. A few schools did their thing and some were pretty lame, while others were okay and ours was pretty cool. We really didn't get boo'ed off which was cool but I kinda expected more from our school but its whatever. Afterwards some of us went back to rest while I needed to use the restroom alot and just warm-up since Groundhog was first game and thats the game I'm in. We eventually all stretched and warmed up and got ready. Yeah we were the first heat which some good schools like SF State. I think it was like 7 or 9 schools that went at once but I'm totally not sure. But yeah pretty much we waited and then afterwards it was time for our first game and damn I was actually nervous and didn't feel too confident. - Yeah our team was mixed with some fast people and not so fast people. I didn't like the order since it wasn't what we practiced before so I had different people behind and in front of me. Anyways we all lined up and then we were off. After only going under just once I looked up and f'n SF State in the lead by alot. I was surprised on how fast they were but we tried our best to keep up. One of the ref's said we were in the lead but we ended up placing in 4th. I was surprised there are some slower schools since I felt we were slow but we had to wait awhile for some schools to finish and I don't know but I felt some of them should of been DQ since they weren't really doing it right like with the hands and what not. Yeah I was tired and felt a bit disappointment that we didn't place top 3 to get points but whatever, there are other games we can do okay in. Well that didn't go well since we got cheated in Conveyor Belt where we would of gotten 2nd but the ref mad a a bad call which made us not place, we should of gotten first in Nasty but got 2nd, Alphine Green I think we got 2nd and Tidal Wave was a DQ. Yeah but the looks of it we weren't going to go to Final Rampage this year. Yeah alot of us felt down and didn't think we'd win anything but coaches and staff talked to us about how we still have a chance for the 8 foot SPUF trophy and we were gunning for it since everyone looked pretty tired and it was f'n hot. I got some food but damn I was still hungry. We started spuffing every school we can get to, even the judges, DJ at the boothes, even the promoters. We even did it to AJ Rafael which was pretty funny. By the looks of it we were doing pretty good and everyone was liking our cheers and our "Sword in the Stone" idea. Yeah saw a few people like Olivia, Andrew, Kiko, Christian, Jelly and a few. Yeah I didn't know but Vinette, Chris Tech and Robert were there as well. Yeah didn't recognize alot of people but damn there were alot of cute girls. Hahah! But yeah I lost my voice and got a damn headache so I tried not to do alot but look like I was spuffing hella hard. Hah! - So we had a mock fight battle with our school during the long halftime show. Yeah our fight scene was pretty fun and some schools were watching us. Yeah we did our battle like in the movie Roll Models where there was certain rules to follow and what not. Yeah so I used my "morning star" mace and I just went after people's legs. Haha! Yeah my shield wouldn't stay on since the duct-tape was coming off. Some girls who were dressed as fairies were going to throw powder to "heal" us. Haha! Yeah I got hit by someone not in our school which was lame since I thought it was someone from our school. Yeah afterwards we watched the show a bit which I got to see Pac Modern perform. Saw some memebers of Poreotics there like Law and Can. Yeah there performance was raw and damn I was amazed. They killed it and they did this ending with a "fuck you" while showing the middle finger. Really messed up but damn that was good. Haha! Yeah afterwards we had another fight battle with girls vs boys where the boys won and then just messing around a bit until we went back to the tent area. We started spuffing more and more and just doing our thing until Final Rampage where we watched the last 3 schools go at it. It was SF State, UC Berkley, and University of Nevada. Yeah pretty weird finals. They prety much mix all the games together. There was some parts where you eat some food, spin around this cone 20 times, roll through mustard, honey and ketchup, walk on this wood piece without falling, do the Nasty with 2 people at the same time and do Groundhog but backwards. Pretty intense. Afterwards we went back and got all our stuff packed and ready to leave. We took a picture with Tri-Force. Pretty much SF State, SJSU, and CSU East Bay. That took a long time and then afterwards started walking to the car which I kinda got lost since I thought I was going to pack some things in someone's car which was waste of time. Didn't get my shield since I gave it to someone else to hold but whatever. Finally found my ride and we made a stop at Taco Bell. That was pretty good since I haven't ate anything good all day and then we went back to the hotel. - Once we got into our floor we kinda got pulled into a room where they were drinking already. Haha! Yeah took a shot of Captain Morgan since Joepoe was telling me to take atleast one since there was 3 people who had the same birthday and so they wanted to take a shot and shit it was kinda alot. Afterwards just left and went back to our room. Chilled a bit and we decided the girls would shower first and yeah took a few shots of this nasty Smirnoff Lemon flavor. Used a chaser but it was still gross. Yeah by the time I showered and changed for the club, I was kinda buzzed already but it wasn't that bad. So the club was House of Blues at Downtown Disney which was pretty sweet. I haven't been there since I was little so it was nice to see the area even if I wasn't going to be at Disneyland. Yeah got there and took a massive piss and then went to where the huge line was to get in. That took maybe an hour or less to just get in since the venue is pretty small. Had to take off my pocket knife since I left it in my keys by accident. Hid it in a bush near this security cop which thankfully was still there by the end of the night. Yeah so got into the club and headed upstairs since thats where I saw some of my friends go. We pretty much I was in the bar area for awhile. Got a drink of "AMF" which was pretty good and it got me walking weird a bit. Haha! Yeah I went and bought Vince a drink with his money and when I was close enough to give it to him, some girl by accident bumps into me and I drop it. Shit! Vince's face was HELLA funny but damn I felt bad so I bought him a drink and thankfully it didn't fall. Got to chill outside a bit with the guys and f'n Adrian and Jun were trying to tell me to pick a girl and hook up with her. Haha! Yeah pretty much the whole night I was just upstairs. Went around for a bit to see where people were but it was kinda hard. Yeah ran into Jelly and she partied with us a bit and I also saw Michelle but she was gone already. Haha! Oh yeah I was going downstairs and Jade ran into me. I didn't see her but she saw me and said "Hey" and what not. I could tell she was kinda buzzed and I just chatted a bit with her since she was with a friend but damn I wish I stayed with her a bit longer and talked it up since I doubt I'll have a chance to chill with her later on but just the fact she noticed me and said something first kinda made me feel good inside. Haha! Yeah I know its kinda lame but I dunno. I'm really digging this girl. She's like a shy/badass kind of girl. Haha! At practice shes quiet and chill and someone I could probably talk too but a badass in the way she rides motorcycles, shes kinda independent, shes also a dancer and such and she could probably beat me up I bet. Haha! Plus she got short hair as well. Haha! I was talking to Riray and Vince about her and damn she is something. Haha! I dunno what will happen but I'm aiming to ask her to Winter Formal sometime in December if I can just get comfortable and know her more. - Yeah by 1:30 in the morning they were going to announce who won what and damn I was watching off the television screen as they announced SJSU won SPUF and shit I was HELLA jumping around everywhere and just felt happy. Haha! Found the rest of SJSU in this corner all packed together as we all celebrated together. Haah! Shit I was f'n sweating already but damn I was just happy. Haha! I was also dancing weird but its nothing new. I can't dance anyways so its all good. Anyways they played maybe 2-3 songs until they had to kick everyone out since it was over. Yeah went outside, grabbed my pocket knife and went and found everybody to see that trophy. It's f'n huge bro. 8 f'n feet tall! Taller than Joepoe I think. But yeah we took a few pictures and I got a snapshot on my phone which looks kinda bad but its cool. Afterwards we headed back to the car and Vince was already gone which was funny and everybody just passed out in the car. Yeah we got back into the hotel and we thought we were going to have a meeting but we never did and so I was stuck in the car for a bit since Kaycee's head was on my shoulder so I couldn't really move. Haha! Yeah went back to the room and everyone pretty much passed out and slept. I talked to Riray a bit until I was out. We set our alarms for the free breakfast which was early but oh well its free so use it to your advantage. - Woke up around 10 something and just put some shoes on and went downstairs to eat. Got some omlet's and some sausages and juice and what not. Pretty damn good since we got to choose what to put into the egg-omlet. Ate it pretty quick and then took a quick shit in the bathroom. Haha! Yeah afterwards got ready and packed up everything into the car as we had to meet up again in the parking lot. They told us we had to take a group photo so we met outside in this one area where a small waterfall is and we took some photos here and there and then afterwards we all departed. Good times. Got some gas and food and then we were off. Yeah everyone knocked out including me. Yeah so something happened while I was awake in the car. So Riray was driving and he was going really close to this Von's truck in front of us since he was trying to switch lanes. In my view it looked like he wasn't paying attention so I HELLA freaked out and so I tried grabbing his arm and yelled out something but as I did this, he switched lanes and then I was like oops and tried to keep quiet. Riray was like "wtf" since it was super quiet and I just spazzed out of nowhere. Haha! Damn all bad. Anyways we made a pit-stop at some gas station and Riray asked if I wanted to drive and I didn't mind. Yeah I had trouble putting gas for some reason since gas was leaking out when I just took out the pump. Another thing happened at McDonalds since after I bought some fries for the road I tried opening his car and the alarm went off which freaked me out a bit. Yeah then they wanted me to lead which sucked and so I took the wrong way by accident since I was following the GPS and all but whatever. Drive back was long. I drove probably 5 hours or so. Yeah long drive but I was doing okay. Riray thought I was driving over 100 which I didn't since he has an Echo which isn't really for driving fast and all. Yeah alot of deep conversations back there but it was hard to get into the conversation since I was concentrating on driving. Hah! Yeah we made a stop to eat at BJ's in Eastridge Mall. Got some good food and a pizookie which was HELLA good. Pretty chill just eating and talking about whatever. After wards dropped off the Go Sisters and then Riray chilled at our apartment for a bit. Haha! Then we started venting about guy things about the weekend and with Riray and his crush. Hahah! Good times. Got to know Riray a bit more since this is like the first time I've actually hung out with him for a whole week even though I've known him since high school. Good times. After Riray left, I showered, did alot of homework and stayed up late like usual. Less sleep again.
- But yeah that was my weekend! Shit it was awesome even if I didn't get to talk to her much. But damn winning that trophy was just great. It makes the trip worth it even though we didn't do to well in the games portion but damn just spending a whole weekend with your fellow classmates and just having a good time. I lost my voice, got hungry, drank lots of water, got drunk and almost fell while trying to go upstairs, no sleep, meeting new people and creating some friendships and what not. It's worth the experience. I know I was HELLA waiting for this moment and I finally go to experience it. I really want to do it again next year but shit I'm still thinking about it even though its Thursday for me and I'm just editing this blog. Haha! It was really an experience. You seriously need to do this at least once in your life since its an experience and something to remember. Yeah Jonathan! Haha! But yeah I'm looking forward to what comes next with me and my stay here at SJSU. I got PCN, K.A.A.M.P, Winter Formal and a bunch of other stuff. Until then, laters for now and I'm f'n hungry. Jun cooked some spam and rice. Haha!
